Visiting artists Denis Rodriguez, Leonardo Remor and Laurencia Strauss present a collaborative project with the Printmaking Department at KCAI. In continuation of research into concepts of relationships with water and belongings, the artists were surprised to find out a fountain desert on the east side of the ‘City of Fountains’. Along Troost Avenue, they interviewed people to see where they would like a fountain, who they would like to honor, and what message they would like to convey. The results of these investigations were shared on First Friday (November 3, 2017) at KCAI Crossroads Gallery.
